During our night photography testing, the Xiaomi 17T Pro captured an impressive amount of detail, with its large aperture allowing more light to reach the sensor. This resulted in brighter images, excellent sharpness, well-controlled noise, and natural colour reproduction, even in challenging low-light environments.

Video Recording: OIS & EIS Support

The ShootSteady enabling image stabilization, which counters hand movements and slight shakes that can make videos appear blurry or wobbly, especially in low light or zoomed-in shots. For action shots or recording while moving, stabilization prevents the video being impacted, which is great for capturing dynamic scenes like sports or walking tours. Stabilization helps the camera maintain a steady view on the main subject.

Whether shooting outdoors, indoors under mixed lighting, or at night, the camera produced impressive results with excellent dynamic range and low-light performance. The dedicated 5× optical telephoto camera captured outstanding detail and clarity, while the 10× lossless zoom remained surprisingly sharp thanks to Xiaomi’s AI-enhanced image processing.
