Here’s an angle that I won’t be using unless I’m doom scrolling social media or reading some comics
It’s actually quite sturdy from the back as you can see it folds into a large kickstand
Top view to share the support is really good and impressive

The ASUS ZenScreen OLED MQ16AH stands out with its elegant and ultra-slim design, emphasizing both portability and functionality. Crafted with a keen eye for detail, the monitor’s aluminum chassis exudes premium quality, making it ideal for daily or business use.
Here we have the 3.5mm audio jack and the USB Type-C Display/Power and a mini HDMI port on the most bottom.
On the left side is where we find the buttons for menu and 2 more USB Type-C ports which one is only for power where the other just for Display.
A quick guide on how to use the buttons on the side.
There’s also a built-in proximity sensor to save energy and to prevent burn-in on the OLED display, if enabled, this mode switches the screen to a power-saving mode and automatically changes back to normal if there’s any movement.
The black dots are the proximity sensor
The 15.6-inch FHD OLED display is encased within thin bezels, providing an immersive viewing experience while maintaining a modern and sophisticated aesthetic.
As you can see the Smart Case is quite sturdy to support the screen and as this is not a touch screen, there should be lesser movements.
Comparing size with my MacBook Pro that is only has a 13″ screen
It’s about the same thickness but easy to carry around for meetings just need to bring a USB-C cable around and makes collaborations much more easier.

Here we test the screen by using a MacBook Pro to power the monitor and it looks beautifully.
The HDR-10 support further enhances the viewing experience by offering a wide dynamic range and vibrant colors.
Pictures don’t do justice to the quality from the screen.
Video Quality:
Playing videos is not an issue with this screen as it supports 60Hz refresh rates and HDR10.
Here we tried using the monitor connected to the power adaptor in order to use 100% brightness.
We also tested connecting our smartphone to the monitor and it could be a good way to share what’s on your phone with a large group of people in the same room without feeling claustrophobic.
Time to test the special hood.
Definitely makes a difference but you can also just turn off the lights if you’re in a dark room if not this is the next best thing!
I really like the slim-ness of the monitor and it fits right into my Samsonite backpack that I take to work.
Conclusion:
In summary, the ASUS ZenScreen OLED MQ16AH is an appealing choice for those who prioritize a stunning display, portability, and versatile connectivity. However, potential buyers should consider the resolution limitations, deployment issues, and the higher price point when making their purchasing decision.
