We’ll be taking a look at the PCIe M.2 NGFF 2280 SSD heatsink from Ampcom, a company well known for selling budget-friendly products.
This heat sink is mada from 100% pure copper and designed to cool the SSD down by 10-30 degrees, according to the specifications.
A clear view of the copper heat sink base can be seen from the back.
We will be installing the copper heat sink on Lexar 512Gb PCIe 3 SSD m.2.
The copper heat sink can be easily installed, and it should be secured with rubber rings.
In the next step, we will be install the SSD into M.2 Slot and run the stress test on the SSD.

As the result show the copper heat sink drop 10 degree from our testing. The heat sink we use cost SGD $5, but Apmcom have wider range of segment m.2 heat sink.
