MELE PCG35 APO Mini PC Review

The MeLe PCG35 APO is a mini pc by MELE. It is a fanless mini PC powered by Intel Celeron J3455 with 4GB RAM.

 

Hardware

The MELE PCG35 Apo comes nicely packed in a black box

The design is really good and slim

The SD Card reader and 1 USB 2.0 for your keyboard/Mouse and 1 USB 3.0 for your other needs on the side

You can find 2 more USB 3.0 Ports on the rear along with the rest of the ports; HDMI 2.0 3.5mm jack, 1Gbe Port, VGA Port, DC 12V and a USB Type-C Port. There is also the kensington security slot.

Let’s take a peek inside the box.

There’s the m.2 sata holder on the back plate.

There’s nothing much you can tinker with in this embedded mobo.

Software

Some verification on the specs

It is shipped with Genuine Windows 10 Home 64-bit edition

As this is using only a 32GB eMMC harddrive as the main OS.

The free space left is only 17GB

Running the Geekbench tool this is the results which is comparable to similar CPU devices

Wifi is using Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165.

The MELE PCG35 Apo is a good fanless minipc for your media needs. It supports 4K and runs smoothly. If you're looking for a mini pc to play your videos and don't want to spend more on a Intel NUC this is a good alternative. The price is around $250 SGD.
