ASUS Zenfone 3 Deluxe – Design & UI Review [Part 1 of 3]

The ASUS Zenfone 3 Deluxe [ZS570KL] came with 6GB LPDDR4 1866Mhz of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor running at 2.15GHz, but when clearing the RAM, only about 4GB of RAM was available for use.

Let’s us unbox the beast.

The Zenfone 3 Deluxe have a large Samsung Super AMOLED display panel of 5.7-inch phone and the resolution of 1920 x 1080 support Flicker-Free frame refresh rate of 60Hz. The physical structure is superbly built and made from metal and Gorilla Glass 4. The result is a very shiny, very sleek block that is highly eye-catching and premium design.

You won’t find any antenna lines as is seen with every other smartphone with a metal body and ASUS claims PureMetal™ technology able to integrate the antennas in such a way as to make them invisible.

The Super AMOLED Display provides an exceptional viewing experience for you. It offers a wide range of colors with an incredible degree of color clarity which translates into far greater resolution.

The Zenfone 3 Deluxe Always On Display (AOD) keeps the screen on even when you turn off the display of your phone. A little area is lit-up with the time, date, battery level, and notifications for emails or incoming messages.

The display only uses eight colors when it displays simple information, including the time and date. If more images or colors are to be displayed on the screen, then bit depth is increased to 16 million colors, requiring a little more power. The AOD feature hardly consumes any additional battery juice, making it one of the favorite new features.
